hparrish 0 #59 December 4, 2008 Thanks to all who committed to Jive Jam in 2008, I hope you found it enjoyable and challenging, and I appreciate your support trying to help advance Freeflying in the Carolina’s. Unfortunately we did not get the support I was hoping for from the Advanced Freeflyers in the area and without them Jive Jam cannot be successful. I’m really a Nobody in this sport so I needed them to draw any interest and provide the true guidance needed to advance our Intermediate community in the area, but it was not to be. I still plan to jump at Raeford and train at Paraclete, but will no longer be organizing any Freeflying Events or Record Attempts. My Family is growing again and I have a 2nd Child on the way (Due June 2009), I just won’t be able to commit to organizing anything going fwd. I hope that folks will continue to challenge themselves and work toward advancing our discipline in this region. I know the economy and decline of our sport will make it difficult, but if folks make an effort to put events together I’ll definitely support it. Thanks again for making the Jive Jam Events that happened fun, and I wish you all the best. Harry P
EXTremeWade 0 #60 December 5, 2008 It was fun man! I learned a lot while over the past few years at the event, and its just too bad that some of the better fellows couldnt show. I guess I will see you in FL. I hate the winter time jumping anyways
hparrish 0 #61 December 5, 2008 Just to be clear and to give proper credit.........We did have some Talent Show up, like Simon (Bones), Benji Rogers, and Mick Nuttal, but none of the locals that I would have expected to back it going fwd. Regardless..........It was fun and challenging. I just can't continue to support it on my own. Hopefully someone else will start organizing something.
