jumpsuit modifications

Recommended Posts

i recently acquired a used jumpsuit. Its great all except the bottom edge of the pants seem to want to "ride up". This is kinda annoying, plus Im worried that I will have fall rate issues, as I need the suit to ride FLAT and TIGHT against my legs. Would sewing a tight elastic strap that connects to each side of the hem of the bottom of the pants legs and goes under my shoe, be the solution to this problem? Im pretty sure I can do it myself, if I can just find some elastic material. Any suggestions?

yeah, but theyre riding up, making the legs baggy, wouldn't making a "stirrup" (good word!) fix this? I guess I am going to try to fiddle around with it this afternoon and see what I can come up with...

The key is the inseam length with your rig on and tight. It may seem baggy, but if the inseam does not go all the way to the bottom of your foot with the leg straps tight then the legs are probably too short. If you try to hold the cuffs down, when you tighten your leg straps, you will get some funky results.
...FUN FOR ALL!

yeah but more material = more drag, and something I can't deal with at 125 pounds :P

I need a solution that will keep the leg area flat against my skin.. maybe its not possible [:/]
Umm... Booties are not flat against the skin.
The front part isnt, I know. But I thought ideally the back of the legs should lay against your skin, not bunch up? Am I right, or am I missing something...? [:/]
