quade 3 #2 July 22, 2006 The word "best" is somewhat subjective and you get what you pay for. So, the "best" camera might be far out of what you're willing to pay. Can we narrow it down a bit? How much are you willing to spend?quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

ltdiver 3 #4 July 22, 2006 Since Sony doesn't make the PC version anymore (great for side mounting), you might want to take a look at used product. I'd shy away from Ebay (been bitten by a purchase there...bad quality) and go with a refurbished miniDV camera direct from Sony. I looked at the Sony site and came up with these: Sony Outlet. I'd go with the PC1000. I bought a refurbished TRV22 from them a month ago and it's just like it was new! Warranty included as well. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

ltdiver 3 #10 August 2, 2006 Didn't see the PC-9, but you might want to try out their physical Sony Outlet Stores as well. :^) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
