350D bite switch

any ideas how to connect bite switch from CONCEPTUS to canon 350D.
is there a need to buy original plug and cable in or is there a way to make yourself an adapter by using ´usual´ electronic- shop- parts.

Just plug it in, both are 2.5mm stereo plugs.

that looks like an RCA phono connector? That wont work with the 350D !

and it doesn't look like a Conceptus Bite Switch, at least not like the ones I bought last year...

If you are a bit handy with a soldering iron you can change it. You can buy a 2.5mm plug at an electronics or audio/visual store and then solder it on instead of the RCA connector. Or, take another RCA connector and solder a little conversion cable, but that has more points of failure. At any rate, those options are cheaper than buying a new biteswitch.
