outlawphx 1 #1 October 21, 2005 I've got a TRV22 I'm going to be top mounting. Will a tripod screw keep it secure? Is a strap really necessary? Should I just go buy some webbing and a fastex clip and make one myself? Do most people use one or two straps? I was thinking about that as well. I talked to a couple of the local camera fliers this weekend, and I think I'm just going to use a strap over the accessory shoe and use gaffer's tape on the viewfinder and between the lens and camera body.
