JVC DX75 and 2kInnovations FF2 Helmet

Recommended Posts

Help.

Have a JVC DX75, almost exactly the same size and shape of a PC-101. Does anyone have any experience fitting the JVC to a 2KInnovations FF2 helmet? They only make their helmets to PC models sizes and am unable to compare the fit of the DX75. Have only done side by side comparisons of the two cameras.

Thanks, Jason

among many others, I attempted to use a JVC "sony PC style" camcorder, sidemounted to an aviator. sizewise, it fits. quality wise - go get a sony, I DID. the structure quality of the JVC sucks, it just doesnt handle this type of usage.

Listen to this advise.

You will be $$$ ahead if you just but your Sony now. I tried to use a JVC and after it broke the third time finally got a Sony.

The JVC works great on the ground - even though the video quality isn't as good as the Sony - but they DON'T LAST in the air.

Ok, now that someone has pointed out the obvious. It may not be the ideal, but its what I got so I'm gonna use it.

Well, if you're not gonna take that advice, why would you take any other?

Don't use the JVC. Even if it does work, it will break. Guarantee.

Don't use it unless you WANT to lose it. You will.

Spend the $500 to get a Sony that will last a few years.
