videointhesky 0 #1 May 7, 2004 I would like to hear from anyone using the canon 10D & a 24mm lens. I'm thinking of getting a 24mm lens for larger RW formations. I'm using a 20mm lens now. Thanks for any comments
freefalle 0 #2 May 7, 2004 using the 1.6 conversion factor would seem to make the 24mm lens kind of impratical for skydiving, Im not really sure I know what the hell Im talking abouut though.I was shooting with a 24 on my 35mm abnd It worked great but I had to drop down to a 19 mm when I transitioned to a digital camera. blazetailman 0 #3 May 7, 2004 I have the D60 (same camera) and shot these 2 shots with the 24mm. I like it a lot. I usually use the sigma 15mm to match my video flying and like it too. But these shots are a different look and when done right look so different than the bulk of the shots which are wide angle. I have a series of tandem shotsfrom below on my back of a girl screaming bloody murder on exit. The hard drive crashed and I lost those shots because I didn't back them up. So back up those digital shots.www.canopyflightcenter.com www.skydivesac.com www.guanofreefly.com

diablopilot 2 #5 May 7, 2004 The 24 is a nice lens, and I soot my 28mm very often. It's just about knowing how to fly your equipment. Take shots and remember what works....---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
