It also avoids the dreaded Hard drive crash and all your stuff disappearing dilemma. Our's is sitting in an open cabinet in the hangar. Only time will tell if it's hardy enough for skydiving, but so far, so good. You just put the media in and it copies everything. I have a couple of 256 cards just for digital prints, I download the print to the customer's CD, and then I copy them to my CD if there was anything I really liked. Yes, you can add photos in this machine until the capacity of your CD is reached. Once you add files using a computer, though, the format changes and you can't add using the standlone anymore.
