garyharbird 0 #3 February 21, 2004 Some very nice shots Just wondering what ringsite you are using because some of the pics are not centered. but other wise great stuff. Love the scenery very beautiful Later Gary
skyfly 0 #4 February 21, 2004 seems like its over cropped, over retouched, or both to be honest. there are alot of noise and digital artifacts espeially in the tracking photos. just curious to see the original of those (feels like it was majorly cropped) since I only get those type of artifacts when I crop BIG TIME, or If I happen to start off with a badly lit original. just from my experience , nothing more.Be Simple, Be Creative, Bee! Deuce 1 #5 February 21, 2004 Lots of guys can do it without, but a concentric ringsite is the ticket for good framing. It makes centering easy, and eventually you get the feel for how full your frame is. Photoshop is helpful, but you might consider trying auto levels and auto contrast first to see what the program suggests before you go in yourself. What lens are you using? YM4 0 #6 February 22, 2004 I don't use a ring site. As I siad before there is some cropping involved in some of the pics, not all. But I dont think the jumpers have to be centered all the time for it to be a good pic, there should be some balance between the ground, the sky and the jumper. About the auto levels and auto contrast, yeap some pics have it but you got to be really cautious with those tools cause sometimes they go to agressive. I rather not go with the AUTO. See... Its my first time with that digital. I still need to get use to it."It's not the size of the dog in the fight, It's the size of the fight in the dog!" YM4 0 #7 February 22, 2004 You are right, those pics suck, too dark and there is some mayor cropping also. Where you there? Cause you're right. Don't even count them as pics. Those were shot on a daaaaaark sunset. I don't even know why I put them on the page. Thanks for your sincere opinion."It's not the size of the dog in the fight, It's the size of the fight in the dog!"
