morris 0 #4 November 12, 2008 A container for a 120-non-crossbraced-canopy? I really don´t think you´ll get it in...!
frost 1 #5 November 12, 2008 if it fits, it will probably be a pretty tight fit... For a reference an 87 JVX hybrid (top/bottom sail) fit snugly in a Mirage G3 M1, designed for a 120-150 sq ft canopies range.
eUrNiCc 0 #6 November 12, 2008 I agree, it'll be very, very snug. My ZP JVX 80 is a good fit in a 120 bag & the sail material adds considerable bulk.Egad, A BASE life defiles a bad age.
RMURRAY 1 #7 November 12, 2008 don't underestimate the bulk of the sail material. Also you don't want to have to struggle. I will bet the weight of the material has changed over time. Mine is an early all sail 85 and packs snugly into a container made for up to a 150. a velo 90 packs like a 120 so it goes to reason a 96 jvx hybrid will be quite a bit bigger. kj126 0 #8 November 13, 2008 My hybrid JVX 87 packs closer to a 135, as I have a significant comparison, My working rig for Vidie is a sabre 120 and that damn thing won't come close to fitting in that bag, or container for that matter. Sail material is thick and I do believe some where on the NZaerosprts web site the do list the packing volumes for the different styles of canopies. Oh yea, Attilla can be impossible to reach but one guy that gets back to me unbelievably quick is Greg from karnagecrew.com, and he knows all the specs on the JVX lines.I Am Sofa King We Todd Did!!
