kkeenan 13 #1 October 18, 2006 Latest edition is Joao Tambor swooping through the hangar at Skydive Space Center in Titusville, Florida. Filming is going on this week. The plan is for him to swoop south-to-north, in one end and out the other. Joao is a hell of a swooper. It should make for some great footage. What could possibly go wrong. I remember about 4 years ago when that guy (help me out here) tried carving through the hangar doors and Rantoul and broke both femurs. This one sounds straight through though so, piece of cake right!
freeflydrew 0 #4 October 18, 2006 yeah piece of cake, except the hangar height doesn't leave too much room for error! But, Joao is the man!!!!!

klingeme 0 #6 October 18, 2006 I saw him do it years ago in Titusville. He made it through and only took 2 steps at the end to get out the other end of the door. It was in our "year end" video compilation. I think I'm going to stop down this weekend and hang out to watch again. kkeenan 13 #7 October 18, 2006 I think they'll be done before the weekend. I went out there today to check it out. They had done a test jump earlier this morning and were going to do another couple this afternoon. I think they'll probably try for the hangar run tomorrow. After hanging out talking with Joao and some of the crew, I was told that the DZ was closed to all except the Tandems and the TV crew, and politely asked to leave.
