Unutsch 0 #2 August 30, 2004 me and my friends were there on sunday at 16:00, only to see a bunch of spectators fight for some goodies that were thrown out of a van and no more swooping, since the competition was allready over so much for the jumping till the sunset Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org

Unutsch 0 #4 August 30, 2004 QuoteHmmm funny, figgure they woulf be waiting for you. no, we never thought they would wait for a bunch of Slovenian skydivers that drove 2 hours to get there (and it sure ain't easy to find that place)... we ain't that proud... but their website stated that they would jump both days till the sunset... so go figure well, check it out for yourself: http://www.skyday.net anyway, we'll for sure go there next year, but a lot earlier then this year Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org

blueshrew 0 #6 August 31, 2004 Was it your canopy Tobi was jumping? He made 9th place as far as I can remember. I left my score sheet lying there, but as best I can remeber the results were: 1 Jeffro Provanzano - USA 2 JC Colclasure - USA 3 Luigi Cani - Brazil 4 Soenke Jacobshagen - Germany 5 ? 6 ? 7 Sami Lehtinen - Finland 7 ? 9 Tobi Scherrinsky - Germany 10 Cathy Bouette - France 11 ? 12 Henny Wiggers - Netherlands 13 ? 14 Patrick Barton - Germany 14 Sascha Wawro - Germany 16 ? 17 ? 18 ? 19 ? 20 ? 21 Bastian Steubing - Germany 22 ? 23 ? 24 Heiko Boeger - Germany 24 one of the Dutch boys I think Martin (Netherlands) and Wuzi (Austria) were in the top 10 as well. Maybe Pablo (Columbia), too. And Olaf "Flirre" (Germany) was in the to 13. I made a bit over 1000 photos of the comp, when I put a selection online, I will post the link :) cya Nadine edit: updated the list :)
speedy 0 #7 August 31, 2004 QuoteWas it your canopy Tobi was jumping? Sure was If Tobi can make 9th place on a canopy he's hardly ever jumped, just think what he's capable of when he's done some serious training on his new Velo. Thanks to Michi Palliardi, the organizer and Silvia Wagner, the chief judge for this great competition. Check out www.skyday.net for next dates! Unutsch: Stubenberg is not a DZ and we were jumping until sunset on saturday and finished the competition. Since you can't really force anybody to jump with wet equipment on a day after a huge party and when everybody has to leave we couldn't find any "swoopers" to jump on sunday. But there were tandems and solos going up with the heli when we left, which was at around 3 pm.

pinkskyvan 0 #14 September 1, 2004 I have no idea if the website will be updated. Unfortunately the organizer of the event doesn't take so much care about it. We are trying to find a way to put it online on our website www.freefly.com There are also some nice pictures under pictures/others-swoop There are also pictures on http://www.pixum.de/members/alexmaximus/?act=a_view&album=1427797&st=1&sid=r4wz5d70aaa43b4ed80a37f3216a28d6&sid=r4wz5d70aaa43b4ed80a37f3216a28d6
