Olmed 0 #1 June 27, 2012 Anyone with experience from the 12 ft tunnel in Kolumna/Russia. Speed/force/size of tunnel; good place to get some FF coaching?
mircan 0 #2 June 27, 2012 I was there back in 2009. (the big tunnel was still under construction). I was never at any other tunnel, so no references, but I keep good memories. Learned lots of stuff. Flew 5.5 hours, freefly. Staff was very nice. English language could be an issue to some extent, as not all coaches have same english speaking skills. Still, lots of people (foreigners) are coming from Kolomna DZ, doing some tunnel flying then back to DZ do some jumps. I think it`s about hour+ drive dz-to-tunnel. I hope I was helpfull.dudeist skydiver #

NWPoul 1 #5 June 28, 2012 There no windtunnel at Kolomna There is 2 locations near/at Moskow with 3 WT The Freezone near Chehov (actually closer to DZ Pushino than to DZ Kolomna) has Skyventure's 12 and 16.5 ft tunnels http://www.realfly.ru/eng/ both with full range of speed you'd need Very experienced staFF (many of them speaks english) and so on... The other WayPark in Moskow has 13.5 ft tunnel closer to bedford design http://www.aerotruba.ru/about/contact.html also has all speed you'd needWhy drink and drive, if you can smoke and fly? degeneration 5 #9 July 16, 2012 I was in the small tunnel a few years ago. I recall it being very much like the Airkix tunnel in Milton Keynes, UK if that is any help... I was doing sit fly training, and had plenty of speed for that.Sky Switches - Affordable stills camera tongue switches and conversion adaptors, supporting various brands of camera (Canon, Sony, Nikon, Panasonic).
