Squeak 17 #1 February 24, 2003 Well I finished my conversion jumps I also discovered just how fast a 170 loaded at 1.1:1 can come in at when there is no wind wow that was fast (for me anyways) then when I flared (a little high) the lift from the flare took me up even higher, none of this stuff happened on the 230 skymaster Geez it was fun though My life RocksYou are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! Squeak 17 #4 February 25, 2003 yeah it flies really well. I'm no canopy master but it responds very well to my inputs. It does however occassionally do a nose dive to the left on opening, it's easily corrected and I suspect that it's more to do with me than the canopy. Body position is probably not great or harness not balanced properly or some other detail that I over look. But it's loads of fun You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?
Raefordite 0 #5 February 25, 2003 Careful Squeak! Downsizing from a 230 to a 170 is quite a transition. The Skymaster is a good canopy. What is the 170?
