skybytch 259 #1 June 3, 2004 A few things I've learned in the past 1000 jumps... 1) I'm not all that, and I likely never will be. 2) There are fun things to do other than skydiving, even on perfect weather days. 3) It's always better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than in the air wishing you were on the ground. 4) Tell your friends you love them. Often. You never know when they'll be taken away from you. 5) Never stop learning - how to fly new body positions, about your gear, about being safe. 6) Never stop challenging yourself. 7) A skydive is often the best cure for a bad mood. 8) The best way to get good at skydiving is... don't die.
