Tracking Derby 5/6 at Lodi - How did it go?

So, I was told about the tracking derby but went to Byron instead since I hadn't been there in a while...and it was pretty much winded out except for Tandems.

So, how did it turn out? What were the winds actually like at Lodi? What were the results (both placers and their distance)? I've always been curious of these tracking derby's (even though I'm still in my infantile stage of learning about tracking). Thanks.

Jumping conditions were perfect. Someone else will know winners and actual distances, but the tracking I saw was pretty impressive. The tracking contest at Lodi is not just for experts, all are encouraged to participate since tracking is such an important skill.

Tod Self was the winner, winds and conditions were beautiful, even Mad John and a few other Byron regulars were there. What were you thinking??

I was thinking that I wanted to visit my Byron peeps! And I also didn't "think" to bring my jumpsuit. Yeah, shoulda gone to Lodi.
