a program to control jumps and prieces

Not sure I understand what you are asking for.

Sorry.
But it's a program so we can see how many jumps ppl have got when a day ends. And how many money they have to pay.

I think it's already in use. My DZ could tell me how many jumps I did and how much to pay. Or check your log book x $ per jump= total you pay plus beer.

Yeah. But we need a little more advance way of doing it.

I have found a program called Skywin. But i cant find out what it cost. And i will prefer a free program.

If you want something simple and cheap, if you already have microsoft access you could create a program with in that to do this.

You just need to have someone that is good at working with Microsoft Access. Maybe one of your jumpers is good with technical details or is an IT person?

MS Access can create basic information entry options like this and if you have office already you probally have it.

It should be easy enough to set up with an Excel spreadsheet. Just set up the parapeters that you want, enter the price per jump into a cell calculation, and summation at the bottom. You can get the info from a decent Excel book out there, or pay a high school kid $20 to set it up. (grin)

You have a number of choices when it comes to software solutions.

JumpRun (~$1,500): IMO the most advanced application available today from the manifest perspective, 1999-2000 technology. weak when it comes to tandem registration and reservations; but capable of it.

Manifest Master 2000 ($0)
This is probably the only free application you're going to find. It is no longer supported and DOS based. It's free but very old technology.

Manifest XP: ($300)
Decent. I don't have much hands on experience with this except to know that its limitations made it not an option for clients I've consulted with.

SkyWriter: ($500)
Decent. I don't have much hands on experience with this except to know that its limitations made it not an option for clients I've consulted with.

RealDropzone (~$2,500):

My product, not yet publicly available - but taking applicants for beta installations. If your club doesn't do tandems - it's probably not worth the price because its most powerful benefits come from online marketing, reservations, etc. It has great value for larger fun jumper dropzones as well but is well beyond a small club (self manifesting kiosks, organizers able to use wireless laptops, etc.). A great deal of effort has gone into making large event registration and ticketing scenarios significantly easier as well.

This product is probably well beyond what you're looking for but you can read information here:

In addition there are other products that will assist you with online reservations - TandemRS is one of them: http://www.tandemrs.com/

In my opinion, if you're smart enough to figure out how to use Access to effectively and efficiently manage your dropzone, then you're smart enough to realize that you're better off buying someone else's application instead - since there are already a handful out there reasonably priced.

Free is never free - it means that you're replacing money for time, and that time has to come from someone that's pretty sharp as far as business and computers are concerned.

Good luck.

Okay, that sounds awesome.
If you can make one without using to much of your time it would be great.
But i need a database where all the jumpers names, adresse, gear, phonenumber, jumps and more.
Then i need it so you can control how many jumps each jumpers have got one day and much he have to pay for those jumps.

In my experience, whatever you start to write, you will almost always realize that your true requirements were greater than you had initially realized. For example, during the course of this thread you have decided upon more information that needs to be kept, or so it appears.
