Seems reasonable and not Skyride-like. If you choose a region, you get a specific location (I picked San Francisco and it said the "gift location" was Byron, CA; choosing Chicago gets you Hinckley, IL, etc.). Actual dropzones and actual locations. Seems like a legitimate marketing tool.

The Boston selection is Jumptown, which indeed accepts their certificates (and doesn't take Skyride) The description is provided by the DZO.
I dunno how many tandems it's produced for the DZ, but it's legit.

They easily could have picked a better photograph for their gateway page. The tandem exit photo they use is lousy.

Yeah, the prices are extraordinarily high. I wonder how much of the inflated price the DZ actually receives? I don't know if this is directly affiliated with Skyride, but there are other DZs in TX that accept Skyride that aren't listed on Discovery's website.

The prices for Jumptown (without and with video) are about $35 over retail if you booked on your own.
