The Masque of the COVID Death

So Trump was going to have a New Years Eve party at Mar-A-Lago.  But he skipped out, leaving several hundred guests who had paid four figures to hobnob with the president to hang out with some of his kids instead.  Few masks were evident.

Vanilla Ice sang "play that funky music till you die!"  Berlin sang "Take my breath away."  People danced.  There was a buffet.

For no reason at all, some excerpts from one of Poe's short stories:

I wish it was just the poorly educated.  I know some highly educated professionals that have fallen deep into the Trump pit in the last few months.

You seem to forget people have a short memory (hints the forgetting). No one will give a shit about him in three months and those who do will be a small enough group that no one will care about them. Easy really. Even so, he wont be the president anymore and will have zero authority to do anything, so irrelevant regardless.
