Coreeece 2 #29 May 24, 2015 It's amazing that people think they can somehow end bulk collection....it was illegal to begin with and it will always remain illegal....duh. Maybe in ten years from now there will be another Snowden....what do they care? Andy9o8 0 #31 May 24, 2015 turtlespeed***It's pretty clear that McConnell has totally screwed the pooch in managing the Senate sinCe he's been in charge. No worse than Reid. Nonsense. We're talking about skill as a legislative house majority party leader, a political and management skill which has nothing to do with party affiliation. McConnell's skill is no worse than, say, Daschle was, and he was awful. Reid was pretty skillful, and Pelosi was extremely skillful, but their party's in minority now, so that's that. Gingrich was extremely skillful, but he's out, too. But neither McConnell nor Boehner are up to the job- they're lousy team coaches and they keep screwing up. They will hurt their party far more than help it.

Andy9o8 0 #35 May 24, 2015 Here's an example of what I mean about Boehner. the very day after the recent Amtrak accident, House Republicans voted to cut funds for Amtrak. Seriously? Are you kidding me? And then his idiotic defenses during a news conference compounded the political damage threefold. What a gift to Democrats that was.
