So, I heard of a few unusual things happening on election day. Detroit has their first white mayor in something like 30 years. Virginia governor went democrat, first in a long while. Texans voted to raze the Astrodome. Coloradan's continue to tell their politicians to shove it by voting down a $1b tax increase.

Virginia governor went democrat, first in a long while.

Yes Virginia elected a democrat but the idea that this is the first time in a long time is completely false. The current governor is Republican. The two before that were both democrats. Virginia governors serve a single 4 year term.

Oh my! What's the point of allowing chickens if you can't have a rooster to perpetuate more chickens? And why require a $25 fee just to be allowed to have chickens? That defeats the purpose of raising your own cheap food. This is a horrible abuse of power and overreach of authority by the big government of Broomfield!
