livendive 8 #159 October 16, 2013 normiss No change to Domestic Partner coverage. DOMA law changed the Domestic Partner coverage for states that recognize marriage between same sexes. Meaning they now get medical insurance at the before taxes rate. Those of us with Domestic Partner coverage, still get the after tax rate. (imputed income) Assuming your domestic partner is opposite sex, you have my sympathies. I got married last year, but paid the "gay tax" (i.e. imputed income) to the tune of around $4k/year for four years before we tied the knot. On the off chance I'm wrong about who your domestic partner is, and they're same sex, you should move to a smarter state. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" normiss 733 #161 October 16, 2013 We have an offset to the amount. We're very lucky to have the healthcare plan we have and thankfully it meets all the ACA requirements so we won't be in the exchange market. Deductibles, max out of pocket, in and out of network, eyes, teeth, and a HSA are another subject entirely. Like yesterday. In preparation of my cataract and lasik eye surgery I have 3 prescriptions for eye drops. Pharmacy calls and says insurance doesn't cover one of them and it is $230. I'll call you back. Called doc. Doc, I ain't paying this. They loaded me up with free samples.

You can't grasp that he said it didn't change, but it did. Then when you can't, you start personal attacks. Now you just admit you do it and try to give an excuse. This is a pretty typical response pattern for you. You run out of fact, so you start personal jabs. At least you admit it now.
