jgoose71 0 #1 February 2, 2012 As the Chinese Economy grows and our economy gets worse, it looks like it's not as economically sound to open factories over seas any more. http://rockcenter.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/01/14/10156162-made-in-america-trend-against-outsourcing-brings-jobs-back-from-china The article mentions Bruce Cochrane of Lincolnton Furniture. Here he is in a video telling why he decided to reopen the factory. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp=46198559 Bruce Cochrane was at the state of the Union address. I know BHO wants to take credit for some of these jobs coming back to the U.S., but the question is which part do we want to give him credit for? Helping the Chinese economy? Or bringing ours down to the level where we can compete? Interesting side note: When opening his factory back up, the banks wouldn't finance him until he turned to his local small bank who had an interest in the local community.
