Amazon 7 #4 September 12, 2008 I saw a report on CNN this morning about prices in the south.. South Carolina I think.. in an area that was hit by Gustav... even regular was above $5. Just in case ....I filled up my Beetle and took 4x5 gallon cans as well The price with my Safeway Rewards was $3.89 a gallon for diesel, and should be good for about 1600 miles of commutingThen again.. I also have about 200 gallons of diesel at home to run the genset.. and the sailboat motor...to go fishing for some salmon or halibutt..... I think I have enough to get thru the IKE price hike.
