Amputee Ineligible for Olympic Events

This perfectly points out how ludicrous the decision is to let him in; because yes, once (and if) the prosthetics get good enough then it becomes the Prosthetics Olympics and people with 2 functional human legs need not apply.

Think about it this way - why not let the swimmers without complete legs wear a device that approximates a foot? My guess is that if they did, their engineers might just end up with a design that has a bit of a fin shape.

I did a little research on the prosthetic. As I thought, it was designed to be better than the original organic part. Before all this started, the language indicated to me that it gave the wearer an advantage.
I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet..

But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.
