"B" ITs about time.....

Recommended Posts

If it makes you feel any better, I have about 750 jumps and still hold an A license. Water training is REALLY hard to come by where I live. I found out recently that with the new BSR's, I'm supposed to be breaking away from a formation at 4500 ft or above. That sure makes life as a cameraman difficult!!!

*** I'm skipping my B, I can use that license money for jumps, and going straight to C...only a few more jumps [\quote]
Sorry to burst your bubble, Dave, but you can't do that any more. You have to get each of the licenses in succession, you can't skip one like you used to be able to last year.

Opening altitudes are listed in the 2001 SIMM as:
1) Tandem jumps-4000 ft
2) all students and A license-3000 ft
3) B license-2500 ft
4) C & D-2000 ft
You can still go from an A to a D but you must meet all the requirements for each license and pass the tests. The one license fee will get you only the D number.
