JumpHog 0 #26 November 26, 2001 If it makes you feel any better, I have about 750 jumps and still hold an A license. Water training is REALLY hard to come by where I live. I found out recently that with the new BSR's, I'm supposed to be breaking away from a formation at 4500 ft or above. That sure makes life as a cameraman difficult!!! Kris 0 #28 November 26, 2001 *** I'm skipping my B, I can use that license money for jumps, and going straight to C...only a few more jumps [\quote]Sorry to burst your bubble, Dave, but you can't do that any more. You have to get each of the licenses in succession, you can't skip one like you used to be able to last year. Kris
PhreeZone 15 #29 November 26, 2001 You have to meet all the requirements for each licence and pass each test, but you only have to pay for one licence each time you submit the form.I'm not sure what to put here right now.....
lazerq3 0 #30 November 26, 2001 With a C you can also open at 2000ft instead of 2500ft. Thats according to the SIMS....unless they changed. I too am waiting to hit 100 to get my C and skip the B. Boy.....sure suxs to be B!!!jason
jumpervali 1 #31 November 26, 2001 Opening altitudes are listed in the 2001 SIMM as:1) Tandem jumps-4000 ft2) all students and A license-3000 ft3) B license-2500 ft4) C & D-2000 ftYou can still go from an A to a D but you must meet all the requirements for each license and pass the tests. The one license fee will get you only the D number.jumpervali
