Jump for the Cause, 2002 Women's World Record

Recommended Posts

Greetings!
Jump for the Cause, a non-profit organization dedicated towards
improving the sport of skydiving, is pleased to announce it's next
project, the 2002 Women's World Record.
The dates are October 13-19th, 2002, and the location is Perris
Skydiving, in Perris, California, USA. This year our beneficiary is
City of Hope www.cityofhope.org and the proceeds of the event will go
towards finding a cure for breast cancer.
Information on this event can be found at:
http://www.square1.com/jftc/jftc2000.htm
If you are interested in participating in this event, please contact
me directly at [email protected] with a brief description of your
formation skydiving experience. The formation is planned to be a
141-way, so please keep this in mind when applying! :-)
Even if you are not going to participate in the event, you can help
participants by making a tax deductible donation to the cause.
Please help us set a new Women's World Record, and raise money for
breast cancer research while doing it.
Thank you for your time, and please let me know if you have any
questions.
Sincerely, the JFTC organizing team

Thanks Chris.
We are really looking forward to breaking our own record, and raising lots of moola while doing it. There are some dropzone.com regulars who will be participating, so be sure to send them your good vibes (and pocket change) to urge them on.

I just got word that yet another friend of mine died Sunday from cancer. Aarrgghh
Won't it ever stop? Jerry Girdler was a fellow skydiver and all around good friend. He would come out and cook for us ( at his expence) and bring his famous chilie.
You'll be missed Jerry, blue skies forever!
