AndyMan 7 #1 August 19, 2002 Anyone know an easy way to export .gif's or .jpg's of the speed chart from jump track? The best I've been able to do is screenshots... _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

indyz 1 #3 August 19, 2002 I read somewhere on L-B's site that Jump Track can accept SQL commands. I'm not sure how the database is implemented beyond that, but it would be wicked-cool if you could access the data (ODBC maybe?) and do your own manipulations. Graph it yourself, generate a CSV file to put into Excel, or whatever.
Darkzone 0 #4 August 19, 2002 Here's Y'answer, Press F3 or right click on a clear area of the chart and select Environment Colors. On the dialogue box that appears click on the small icon beneath the artists palette. Click 'Load Backimage' and then browse for the image you want. Click okay etc until you are back at the Jumptrack chart. Done. Far away is close at hand in images of elsewhere.
Darkzone 0 #5 August 19, 2002 Sorry. Just re-read your post and realised I'd misread you question. My previuos post was for importing jpgs etc to the chart as a background - Sorry!! Far away is close at hand in images of elsewhere.
cpoxon 0 #6 August 19, 2002 The only way I know of doing it is through screen shots. I suggest you email L&B with your idea; you know how good their customer service is and they are very receptive to ideas that improve the product. They are pretty busy and it may be a while for the next update to come out though. Lummy's idea is a good one. You can right-mouse click on the graph and select Export from the context-sensitive menu and export the time, altitude and speed data in a comma-separated or tab-delimited file. This can easily be imported into Excel to graph. Do you want to export the graphs to show people? I'd be willing to host your JumpTrack database on http://www.speedskydiving.org which allows you to graph your data dynamically online. You can even overlay multiple jumps. When I get a moment I intend to allow people to upload their databases for themselves but at the moment you'll need to send them to me via email (the .DB, .MB and .PX files)
