Rdutch 0 #37 October 18, 2002 Skydive Deland, always has a big thanksgiving party. Last year they cooked like 12 turkeys and everyone brought a dish. The turnout was huge and they flew the Otter and Skyvan until dinner time. Should be more of that this year. Ray Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of! scottbre 0 #38 October 18, 2002 Quote Skydive Deland, always has a big thanksgiving party. Yep, every year, basically everyone from my DZ (DZO, staff, and most of the regulars) go to Deland as a group for Thanksgiving. So there's 30 or so people from the Indianapolis area who will be in Deland during Thanksgiving week. "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" (We have yet to win, but we have the best team t-shirts and consider that to be more important than points.) Thursday - 10-way speed Friday - 8-way RW Sat/Sun - 16-way Lots of fun. wmw999 2,129 #42 October 18, 2002 Well, I'm going to Chicago. My brother & family, father, and son will all be there too. Almost any large-ish DZ with good weather will have people, potluck (maybe), and jumping. Ones with bad weather will probably have the people and the potluck, along with beer. At least in my experience. Eloy for Christmas! Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

SkyDolphin 0 #44 October 18, 2002 Over the river and through the woods! Seriously, CSS has the best Thanksgiving Boogie on the East Coast. West Coast, I don't know. I hear Perris does a decent one but I've never been. Rhonda
