Where's my quicklaunch bar?

Recommended Posts

Right click on the task bar, there should be an option for the quicklaunch bar. If its not there you may have an old version of explorer and will need a service pack/IE upgrade. Either that or you will have to sacrifice a virgin kitten to the BSoD gods...

The IT-administrator just brought me a new computer.

Wow, there's a coincidence! :o

I've had a new work's PC delivered this morning too, to handle a new piece of mapping software. No such problems with mine though. >Searches for a gloating icon, but this one will have to do

One of the users in my office is in the same boat as Erno. Are there any good third-party shareware utilities that do the same thing as the old quick launch bar? I don't really feel like stripping out IE 6, going back to 4, then re-upgrading back to 6.

Thanks.

I have a favourite 'quick lunch bar' but I think you are looking for something entirely different....;)

Thanks, Erno. I'm downloading it now and I'll install it on their computer. :)
I hate those pesky end-users, who think things like Quick Launch are actually important. Don't they know that important things are those that are specified and implemented by the IT department? ;)
