hooked 0 #1 January 15, 2004 Some pictures I took recently. The sunrise was beautiful, the other pictures of our recent snow and then ice rain. The bear picture is of a concrete bear in the backyard completely covered with icy as are the plants. Very pretty to look at, not fun to experience. I hope the pictures show the layer of ice! hooked 0 #3 January 15, 2004 Thanks. Here's one more. It was incredible but so cold, especially since we lost power for 24 hours. J -------------------------------------- Sometimes we're just being Humans.....But we're always Human Beings.

hooked 0 #5 January 15, 2004 Ha! You couldn't even walk anywhere....everything had a 1/4-1/2" layer of ice on it! The stairs were unreal and the railings had a double row of icicles hanging from them. J -------------------------------------- Sometimes we're just being Humans.....But we're always Human Beings. ChileRelleno 0 #9 January 15, 2004 Nice pics. As a trucker I've a strong dislike for ice particularly when its on the roads. Though I do agree it can be very pretty when everything has a glistening coat of ice that turns to diamonds when the sun hits it... Either that or the glare just about blinds you as your driving down the road. Truly its a love hate thing. seedy 0 #12 January 16, 2004 Haven't posted here in a long time, but was reminded by your photos of one I took in March of 1983 in Topeka, Kansas. Ice storms are beautiful, but major damage. We were without power for four days. Edited because file was too large I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
