I laugh whenever I think of Blur - Song 2

I remember before napster and it's decendents, back in the days of trading music via ratio ftp servers. You'd connect to a server, and you'd upload X bytes worth of mp3s, and the server would let you download 3X or 5X bytes of mp3s (hence the name: ratio)

After a while server owners would implement "NO BLUR - SONG 2" rules because the song was so short and everyone would use it as fodder for getting their bytes up before downloading something else. I guess they were tired of finding a dozen copies of that song in their upload folder, all with slightly different filenames.

Oh, whatever. I've been a fan of theirs since their first album (in 1992, I believe). They're amazing. I always marvel at how they can sound totally different on every album.

And lead singer Damon? His side projects are genius. Pure genius. Gorillaz, anyone?
