Shut it......

Yes please. Lars always has been and always will be a weak drummer and a pussy. Sometimes I wish he would have been sleeping where Burton was during that bus accident. I dont think they would have ever sold out with Cliff around.

I still say they sold out.

As Lars has said before, "You're damn right we sold out, every f'in seat in every f'in place we played" I still think they are a great band to go see.

Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

That is so awesome that you 2 went. I'm gonna go see them in August when they're in IL. I was attempting to talk to Iwan this morning and he kept saying "what?" and rubbing his ears.

Last Time I saw Metallica was at Monsters of Rock in the then Joe Robbie Stadium and Jason "Newkid" got smashed in the head with a glass bottle thrown by the crowd, it bloodied him and he threw it back in the crowd, gave them the finger and kept playing. I was in the pit at the time getting thrashed. It rocked:D.

I have just one question . . .

Do we or do we not live in a capitalistic econimc society?

Are we not a bunch of capitalists looking to make our millions so we can skydive forever?

Why do people get so pissy when someone has something that makes them rich? They put the hours into playing when none would listen to them but a few kids with pimples and bad breath. They worked hard to get noticed and play in some shitty underground dives and then they got their records sold and they sold out the shows that you wanted to spend the money on. Now they make millions and want to protect their creations and people get all pissy.

"they sold out?" More like you sold out to socialism:P. They were always capitalists. They never sold out, they attained their goal.

Long live capitalism!:D

Oh and I am not attacking, just poking fun at you little socialists . . .:)B|

Btw, I think Lars is a very talented drummer

Uhhh.......NO! The guy is weak in every aspect of the word when it comes to drumming. Wow, he can play some cool double bass shit...who can't? The guy is a clown. I just think it is funny that so many people think he is so great when there are shitloads of guys nobody ever heard of that will make him look stupid.

Geeze people. Girlfalldown and Iwan just wanted to share their happiness about a concert they went to, and now you've all turned it into a debate. Can't you just be happy that some of your fellow skydivers had a good time last night?

It is one thing to want to protect your property. It's another thing to sue your fans. They are assholes and they will never lose that stigma they gained by doing that.

I love their old music but I think they've become the flagship for everything that is wrong with music today. Music shoved down your throat while competition and fair use are stomped out. If they had their way you would pay a $1 every time you wanted to listen to a song.

The music industry has changed forever and they were left behind. Good riddance. They didn't understand the new technology, feared it, so they tried to squash it and failed. Napster was taken down only to be replaced by other networks. They helped create a whole genre of music, but their music now sounds tired and just plain fake.
