ChasingBlueSky 0 #26 May 27, 2004 All good points. However, I still think it is illegal (from my brief days in the HR dept) to listen in on personal calls. However, you can log the amount of personal calls made and time lost on the job. All grounds for dismissal._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... I WILL fly again..... lawrocket 3 #27 May 27, 2004 Actually, think of it this way - who owns the phone line? The employee cannot authorize a phone tap to be placed on his/her phone. It's not the employee's phone line. But, the employer can authorize it since it's the employer's phone. My wife is hotter than your wife.
slug 1 #28 May 27, 2004 On Court T.V. today there's a murder trial somewhat connected to a $30 million sex haressment suit. The haressment suit is no longer a issue. The boss was a total pig asking the women about their pap smear results. The boss is on trial for murder. The boss is a well known career politician in a small county in Kentucky. This must be a old case so the jury verdict will ne announced today. Check the court tv websight for the facts, and jury verdict. Strange... Very strange..... R.I.P.
