Quit second job for skydiving

Recommended Posts

So is it a stupid idea that I quit my second job making an extra 24k in cash a year to focus on skydiving and hopefully make a living out of it one day. Can't quit my 9-5 it pays the bills. Am I jumping into it to fast or is it better to spend every waking moment hoping to dive?

If your going to quit a job for skydiving at least wait until you have all your ratings or enough jumps/experience to be a highly rated coach. There is not a lot of money in skydiving and it is hard to make ends meet. If you don't have your ratings you end up packing and most of the time if you do that you don't end up jumping all that much.

Thats funny, I have been trying to find a second job to support my skydiving!!! I am definitely addicted and have been jumping a lot....or when I can and the weather is good. It can be pretty expensive, especially when you are just starting up the sport.

Try balancing for a little while, and use that money to save up for your own rig. ;)
