iambeav2 0 #1 October 25, 2008 Been looking for them just as an example (was telling students about them). I saw a few in a gear store once but cannot find them anywhere online. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? It's a piece of metal w/ some hardcore plastic teeth that you strap to your legstraps so you don't need weights. Please point me somewhere where I can get one and show to someone else. Thanks....it's not the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone...it's the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until someone appreciates it for you! I believe you are referring to the piece with hook Velcro on it ?
AggieDave 6 #3 October 26, 2008 Scott's Strap. The only place I've seen it in the last few years is the gear shop at Spaceland. I'm sure other people carry them too.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
SkyJeaux 0 #4 October 26, 2008 It's called Scott's Grip. The number is 1-800-815-2731. The guy owns a plumbing company I believe, he makes them on the side. When I got it, it was 20 bucks shipped to my door. I love it, even has a tent stake hole in it if you are packing on grass.
