partyboy 0 #1 July 8, 2005 I have been going to the site www.skydivingmovies.com for a while, and I usually view the Free Fly section. However, if the video is in avi. format, I cant see it. I use windows media player and it says " had problem with the download" or some thing to that accord. What's going on and what do I do? Up High!! squiffy 2 #3 July 8, 2005 Windows media player 10 (free download) should cope with avi. Try here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/default.aspx Good luck Ashley
Morcyk 0 #4 July 8, 2005 I had the same problem with an avi file. It turned out that the specific format wasn't being recognized. Think it was xvid or something like that. Ended up having to go grab the plug-in myself manually and then it worked.

OMG that's like telling a guy with 50 jumps to buy a velocity. Just BAD advice! RealPlayer SUCKS. You can get like 99% of the avi videos on the site to play if you have a recent version of media player and DivX. A few more require XviD. And then some require oddball codecs which I wouldn't bother with unless you REALLY want to see it. If you've got those and they still won't play, try downloading them to your hard drive and playing them from there. Some computers don't seem to like to stream certain video types. Right click on download and hit "save target as" or something similar. Dave

tso-d_chris 0 #10 July 8, 2005 I tend to try VLC before anything else, and with most CODECs it works great. Plus it is free for PC or Mac.

I don't get to watch all the videos sometimes but I also don't care.~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me.
