What was your first slow dance and what song?

Recommended Posts

Gahh. I wish I could remember the song. Probably a nice early 60s soul tune.

But I remember the girl ! Peggy (something). Summer camp. I was 9, I guess.

My parents saved the postcard I sent home after that. Among other things, it asked:

"Did you know that girls are warm ?" :D

And how !

"November Rain" by G+R, in Hamburg with some German girl whose name I forget. We were pen pals for like three years after, but it was fifteen(!) years ago. Gawd, am I ever old.

I came home and told my parents, "If sex is anything like slow dancing, I cannot wait!" They rolled their eyes and told me I'd learn.

Took me another eight years to do the deed.[:/]

I have no idea what song it was (music all sounded the same to me when I wasn't paying attention), but the first slow dance was at a Sadie Hawkins dance in high school (where the girls ask the guys out to).

She was a real cutie...

Now, she's a pregnant lesbian... go figure... :|
