airtwardo 6 #1 December 13, 2004 Snag ~ Sensitive New Age Guy Is it just me... or is this 'snag' thing getting way out of hand!? I'm seeing it more and more every day, the societal castration of the American male. A guy I barely know, strikes up a conversation with me today, I politely endured 20 plus minutes of "Woe is Me" bullshit. "My love life is again in turmoil, women always treat me so bad, Will I never find my true soul mate??!" I gave him my sage and heartfelt advise...! "Go get into a bar fight" I told him... It will get the adrenalin pumping, and some fresh O2 in the brain. Nothing gets rid of the doom & gloom mind set and realigns your priorities like a few loose teeth and some cracked ribs! Listening to his whinny, pitiful dribble... It was only all to obvious, as to just why he was having 'relationship' problems... It goes back to some of the things we learned in grade school biology, and those basic 'sex ed.' classes. We are all just animals... and it really is survival of the fittest! As in the animal world, the female of the species is attracted to the stronger-smarter-healthier male. It's innate and subconscious, she wants the best of all possible genes available so that the chances of her offspring surviving and thriving are increased. Whether they'll admit it or not- Women Want Warriors! They want the take charge guy that walks with confidence and takes control of any situation he finds himself faced with. Women can't help but be attracted to the guy with the cocksure attitude that screams out... My life is good, you should be part of it! The overly sensitive crybaby may have some small appeal to the nurturing side of a caring woman... and some it seems, are happy enough with the coddling attention that brings. But it's the quarterback that fucks the prom queen... Suck it in....COWBOY UP!! Jeeze...I hope I'm not the first to mention it~ The world's tough..Life sucks...Get a helmet !! Got a broken heart? A Snag loses his manhood because he cannot control his emotions and lets women control them for him. Hence the no self- confidence & whiny approach to things. However, most "Bar Fights" I've seen express the same lack of self-control as Snags. They lose it - the "Big Men" lose their own ability to control themselves, and act like a toddler throwing a tantrum. Pathetic. So, I look at it this way - One can either be a Toddler throwing a Tantrum or a toddler crying and whining for mommy, but either way, that "Man" is just a kid, unable to control himself. I look at this a whole other way. Self-Control is what defines a man - the ability to master ones own thoughts & actions. Maybe this is why I choose not to Drink. I guess either way I look at it, most people have a lot of growing up to do, myself included. Man-up, guys, and take control of yourself.
