jimmytavino 16 #1 October 9, 2005 just great !!! was able to see Paul McCartney live!! as he and his musicians played the MCI Center in Washington D C .. on Sat Night..10 - 8 - 05 ( he played with a drummer, keyboardist, and 2 guitarists, and mentioned that the show has 140!!!!!!! 'behind the scenes' staff persons!!..... Just a Fabulous Show..... Excellent sound.. great effects.. ( 3 video screens above the stage, lights. pyrotechnics, special effects )... The music was spot ON!!!! his voice AMAZING.. the acoustics perfect...They played old and new,, soft ballads, like Yesterday and Black Bird.... and some real rockers as well!!! Explosive rendition of "Live and Let Die", Audience Participation for Hey Jude....and many many more favorites... Went with my 3 brothers, their wives, my Wife and Our Sister.. Most of us traveled from outta town to be there... I swear,, hahahahaha... anyway.. they played for 3 hours,, did 3 encores. Paul was VERY personable and was very well received... Audience members varied from 60 and 70 year olds to teens.... If you can get tickets to any of the remaining shows (the tour isn't quite half over.....) ( Next stop toronto...and i think they finish in L.A. ) be sure to DO IT !!!!!!!... "The Magical Mystery Tour is waiting to Take you AWAY !...Take you away!!!!!
