Gone_Skiing 0 #2 November 14, 2005 Hagis? -Nick-- I used to pray to God for a bicycle. Then I realized God doesn't work that way. So I stole one and prayed for forgiveness.

tigra 0 #4 November 14, 2005 Haggis if I'm not mistaken. (sp?) This is where the puking smile would come in handy! No idea why lungs are illegal, but if the bonus was a serving of the above delicacy, I'll pass!

The hawk-eyed FDA deems lung - a common ingredient in haggis - to be unfit for human consumption, a ruling thought to date back to the 1930s when there were unsubstantiated fears about the spread of tuberculosis."I gargle no man's balls..." ussfpa on SOCNET

Absolutely correct. and i emphasized the main part. When i worked for IBP, in the pork plants and in the beef plants, lungs went into large machines that cleaned and chopped them. They then were dumped into large containers marked "Friskies" or "Alpo" Seriously. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
