Nope, the snopes link only says that Coca Cola was ORIGINALLY brown. the thing listed above says that if no coloring were added, Coca cola would be green. But caramel coloring was added in the ORIGINAL recipe.

If there were no coloring in coke, there would still be carbonated water, sugar, phosphoric acid, and caffeine, which are all colorless. The other ingredient is flavoring from an extract of Kola nuts. I don't know what color that would give you, but it might be green, who knows.:|
