used canopy pricing

ive got a triathlon 190 i got used with about 100 jumps in a package deal. i put almost 100 on it myself. was just wondering if anyone knew how much that canopy would resell for or a good rule of thumb to go buy when reducing the price based on jump numbers. any help would be appreciated. pm me:)

If I was looking to buy a used Tri, I'd be looking to pay $500 or less. Maybe a bit more if it's pretty new and in good shape (which it sounds like yours is).

Not saying that should be your asking price, just that that's what I would be looking for as a buyer.

A rule of thumb - Take what you can buy a new one for, subtract $100 then subtract another $1 for each jump on it.

That gives you a starting point for negotiation. Adjust the price downward according to the condition of the lines, where it was jumped (canopies jumped in desert areas tend to show "age" faster than canopies jumped in greener places), how much you like the buyer, how bad you need the money, etc.

There is ALOT less demand for used Triathlons then most other modern canopies. Most sell for $600 and below.... just an observation.
