sundevil777 94 #1 March 4, 2007 Please help me to identify the mfg of this altimeter. The "Ro" with a little chevron type mark underneath it is the only identifying mark on it. Thanks in advance for your help.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

sundevil777 94 #3 March 4, 2007 Thanks, isn't Saphire the model, with Robnyk (sp?) the manufacturer? I just wanted to make sure of what I had before I sell it.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. Elisha 1 #7 March 5, 2007 QuotePlease help me to identify the mfg of this altimeter. The "Ro" with a little chevron type mark underneath it is the only identifying mark on it. Thanks in advance for your help. I think I have one. After getting my Alti-2 stolen along with some other gear, I bought this for $30 at the Action Air shop. Not fancy, but seems to work. I showed it to Cly, the DZO at Byron in NorCal and he was wearing the same thing on a jump....says he thinks it is 30 years old. I don't know - it seems to work after over 100 jumps. ripcord4 0 #9 March 5, 2007 I have an Altimaster that is 39 years old and has over 2,000 jumps on it and it still works just fine. Age and number of jumps means nothing - it's how it is used/abused that matters.
