I never said it was the RIGHT way of thinking, but sadly, in this country, it's an accurate portrayal._______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" sunshine 2 #28 January 15, 2007 Make work out buddies at the gym or hire a personal trainer for a few sessions. If you have a set appt. or know you're gonna see some buddies, it's something to look forward to. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug! GARYC24 3 #29 January 15, 2007 I'm trying a personal trainer tonight. 24hr fitness has a deal lose 10lb in 5 weeks $55 includes 5 25min sessions w/trainer, a little menu chart and workout data cards. Seems I have a female trainer. Will meet tonight. Always been curious about trainer making any difference in getting results. Looking forward to getting measurements taken for records. I think I may lose more than 2 lb a week, or more than 10 by the next 5 weeks. Already bought my food for this weeks menu plan.
happythoughts 0 #30 January 15, 2007 Personal trainers provide some nutritional info. I have a friend that does competitive fitness stuff. She told me that a good food program would have more impact on my weight than running. The main advantage of a personal trainer, for me, was that they teach you the correct way to do things. Less injuries and techniques to target your goals.
karenmeal 0 #31 January 15, 2007 Actually.. one of my good buddies just joined my gym! That will be good motivation for both of us. Ahh.... I always feel so nice after going to the gym! Now I can eat pork rinds and drink beer all day long and not feel guilty!
