I saw him in a little redneck dive bar in Fla. when he was 12-13 years old. Absolutely one of the best shows I have ever seen. The kid played with more feeling than any guitar player I have seen before or since.

Saw Clapton Friday night and yep, I agree, Trucks kicks ass. And Clapton looked like he was having a great time playing with Trucks and Bramhall.....I really like how Clapton allows these younger players to get in the light........That is class. I spent 100$ on last minute pro-mo release seat and it was the best in the house!
Poor Doyle, he is so bored. I hope he can hold it together!

Hmmm....I've never seen him play a steel guitar but then again, there is a lot in this world that I haven't seen yet.

I saw him open for Satriani in Atlanta back in 98 or 99. I enjoyed him better than Satch and I am a huge Satch fan.
