SabreDave 0 #4 March 20, 2007 Anyone use these kind of services before? I took a quick look around and I know they say unlimited backup but is it really unlimited?? I have over a TerraByte of video and pictures alone and would love this service for $50 a year!SabreDave
rehmwa 2 #5 March 20, 2007 Terabyte hard drives are pushing less that $300-$400 bucks (soon) and then less every year after. I can get 320G for around $100 for an external and even less for an internal. Why pay a yearly fee when you can own it? ... normiss 640 #6 March 20, 2007 because terabyte hard drives crash just like the others.... Anything made by man given time and usage WILL fail. ALWAYS backup or store your information in at least three places. It is THE ONLY way to ensure that you WILL get your data back when you need it most. pilotdave 0 #7 March 20, 2007 Depends how safe a backup you want. If your house burns down, all the hard drives in it are toast. Online storage, backed up at multiple locations, prevents that possibility. The data also becomes accessible from anywhere. Dave
