base_rigger 0 #2 September 29, 2006 Very tight but it will fit.You know you have a problem when maggot is the voice of reason at the exit points
darkwing 4 #3 September 29, 2006 Given the inevitable size variations in both canopies and containers with the nominal same size, I recommend amending the answer above to "maybe." -- Jeff My Skydiving History
DougH 270 #4 September 29, 2006 Does that pack significantly bigger than a smart 175?"The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
Fab 0 #5 September 29, 2006 A smart 175 will fit poorly in an I5. A smart 160 fits better.... _______________________________________
DougH 270 #6 September 29, 2006 QuoteA smart 175 will fit poorly in an I5. A smart 160 fits better.... Thats funny, both my rigger and Aerodyne seem to think that it fits fine, and I like the extra 15 square feet. My rig looks fine with the 175 packed in it, and it has been repacked by several different riggers. I am not saying your wrong, just wanted to share my experince (and the previous owners experince)"The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
