souleh 0 #2 June 12, 2007 You could do a western union wire transfer, but they're kinda associated with nigerian scammers now so he may not want to. If you have a standard bank account, you can ask your bank for your IBAN (international bank account number) and BIC code (branch? bank? identifier code), which means he could do a standard bank transfer to you - probably a lot safer. He'll probably get charged something for it though. 'buttplugs? where?' - geno
Squeak 17 #3 June 12, 2007 2 easy ways 1) open a Paypal account 2) Western Union Wire Transfer, you go to a WU office pay them money, the reciever goes to a WU office and collects itYou are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! peregrinerose 0 #4 June 12, 2007 PayPal is probably safest for all concerned. I sold my husband's old rig to a guy in Brazil, and the PayPal transaction was flawless and safe for both of us. I bought a rig from Canada the same way. Do or do not, there is no try -Yoda

BarbaraKobzik 0 #6 June 12, 2007 Depending on the amount, you definitely should ask for the fees. Paypal charges quite a bit - not a big deal when you buy a memory card for 50$, but depending on the total amount, it might be quite some money. I transferred some money from Germany to the US, they did it in two different ways: 1) money transfer: fees were around 80$ and you get the exchange rate whatever it will be at the time the transfer gets through (which is a few days after you initiated the transfer) 2) the German bank bought US$ exactly at the moment I chose, then transferred the money already in US$: advantage: I got the exchange rate I chose, and the fees were only around 30$--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's nice to be important, but it's much more important to be nice.
