FlyboySMB 0 #1 July 31, 2007 My network security program (Trend PC-Cillin) just started notifying me of spyware hitch hiking on DZ.COM (see attached). Anyone know what this is all about?
BillyVance 34 #2 July 31, 2007 This is the second time somebody's posted that... Zep 0 #9 July 31, 2007 I had it too, Ad-Aware 2007 kicked it's arse to the puter dungeon. I'm wrong it's still there Ad watch didn't catch it. Gone fishing
eeneR 1 #10 July 31, 2007 It isn't a problem with dz.com, but an issue with the ad server letting the bogus crap adds through. wildblue 4 #11 July 31, 2007 It's adbrite.com that's actually giving you the error - I'm guessing just one of the companies HH uses to pay the bills. According to everything I can find, Trend Micro reports it as a dangerous site for no real reason. So.... in short, don't worry about it just yet, and it's not dz.com that's "Dangerous" - any site that uses adbrite.com will show up like that.it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality
